Unrequited Harmony
Unrequited Harmony is a game that explores the emotional and psychological impact of childhood abuse through a symbolic music box given by an abusive parent.
Players experience the haunting beauty of the music box and its connection to their traumatic past, journeying from childhood and adulthood to collect and repair its broken pieces. Each collected piece reveals a memory, offering deeper insight into the abuse experienced. As players gather these fragments, they piece together the broader narrative of trauma and recovery. Every piece becomes significant, providing key insights into the lasting effects of childhood abuse. Once all pieces are collected, the full story unfolds, and players face choices that highlight hope and resilience, emphasizing both the impact of abuse and the possibility of healing.
